IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS:  The Johnstown Police is proud to announce that we will be hosting a 10-week Citizens Police Academy beginning June 4, 2013. The class will meet every Tuesday night from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Johnstown Police Department located at 430 South Parish Ave. For more information, please go to our community page. OTHER ANNOUNCEMENTS: In order to minimize burglaries and thefts in your neighborhood, please keep your garage doors closed at night and keep your vehicles locked. If you see any suspicious activity (people dressed in dark clothing who are walking around at night looking into vehicles) or suspicious vehicles (cars driving around at night with their lights shut off), do not hesitate to contact the Johnstown Police Department by calling (970) 356-1212 - OPTION #4 so that an on-duty officer can respond to the area. IMPORTANT: Try to get a license plate number on any suspicious vehicles to help us with our follow up investigation. Thank you for your assistance in preventing crime.
